I’m thrilled to return to the Harris Theater in Chicago with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center to perform George Crumb’s American Songbook II: A Journey Beyond Time.
Crumb’s incredible American Songbook series places well-known American folk tune melodies in a contemporary context, with a magical and colorful orchestration for vocalist, piano, and percussion quartet. I’ll be joined by Randall Scarlata, Gilbert Kalish, Christopher Froh, Ayano Kataoka, and Eduardo Leandro.
