To cap off my three-year residency, the Chamber Music Society presents a program that consists entirely of percussion music. Centered around the monumental Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion by Béla Bartók, the program also includes music by John Cage, Thierry de Mey, Conlon Nancarrow, Toru Takemitsu, Steve Reich, and Nebojsa Zivcovic.
I’m joined by three other percussionists – Victor Caccese, Christopher Froh, and Ayano Kataoka – as well as two brilliant pianists – Wu Han and Gilbert Kalish.
