I return to the Noguchi Museum in Queens for a portrait concert of Martin Bresnick’s music, in celebration of his 70th birthday. Martin is an outstanding composer and a great friend, and the program features the wonderful Argus Quartet, the current fellowship quartet at the Yale School of Music.
I will play just one piece on the program – Martin’s beautiful Songs of the Mouse People, for cello and vibraphone.
