My good friend Christopher Cerrone is about to have his opera, Invisible Cities performed for a limited run in LA by The Industry, a wildly creative opera company. It’s an incredible production that takes place in Union Station and involves the audience each experiencing the show through their own set of wireless headphones. Chris is also the composer of Memory Palace, a wonderful piece for percussion electronics. As part of a preview for the opera, I’m going to perform Memory Palace at the LA Italian Institute of Culture alongside excerpts from Invisible Cities. And yes, this performance will also take place on wireless headphones!
